SNNP REGIONAL WATER RESOURCES BUREAU
Credit 3901-ET and Grant H085-ET
1. The
SNNP Regional Water Resources Development Bureau through the
Government of Ethiopia has received credit and grant from the
International Development Association toward the cost of the Water
Supply, Sanitation and hygiene Project. It is intended that part of
the proceeds of these Loan and grant will be applied to eligible
payments under the contract for the supply of PLASTIC WELL CASING
for Rural Water Supply and sanitation Program in the region.
2. The
SNNPR Water Resources Development Bureau now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply of:

3. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from SNNPR Water
Resources Development Bureau, Wash Coordination Unit, Hawassa city,
Tel. 0462-20 99 74, Fax 0462-20 41 82
5. Bids
shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening. Bids should be
accompanied by bid security of ETB 30,000 (Thirty Thousand Birr) in
the form of CPO or bank guarantee.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the SNNPR Water Resources Development Bureau,
Equipment & Supply service, Room No. 05, Hawassa city, Tel. 046-221
24 69 at or before 10:00 a.m. on 30th day of this
announcement on national news paper. Electronic bidding will not be
permitted.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who are interested to attend at 2:00 P.M. on the 30th
day of announcement this invitation for bids notice on the national
news paper at the Library of SNNP Regional Water Resources
Development, Hawassa city. If their will be public holiday on the
date, the closing and opening of the bid will be take place on the
next working day at the same time and the same venue.
8. The
Offer document should be neat, clear, and without any additional
approval signature. If so automatically rejected.
9. Bids
received after the tender box has been sealed will be rejected and
returned unopened
10. The
SNNP regional Water Resources Bureau reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
