1. The
Adigrat City Administration has raced a fund from the Urban
Development Fund (UDF) for the construction of drainage and now
invites was-sealed bids form eligible bidders for providing the
necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction
preparation & completion of 1.6 km drainage.
2. The
work should be complete with 70 calendar days starting from the
commencement of the work.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with open National Tendering
procedures contain in he procedures contains in the public
procurement percolation from the Federal Government of Ethiopia and
is open to all bidders from eligible source counters. Domestic
Contractors of category GC/RC/WWC/BC-5 and above with licenses valid
for the year 2008/09 eligible to participate in the bid.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Adigrat City
Municipal Office, Tel . 0344-452097 and inspect the bidding document
at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:30 A.M to 12:30P.M. Morning and 2:30P.M. to 5:30 P.M in the after noon
local time.
5. Interested
bidders at the address below may purchase a complete set of bidding
documents in English at 8(b) and upon payment of non-refundable fee
of Ethiopian Birr 200 in cash.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 8( c) at or before 2:00P.M
local time on April 24,2009 and must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 20,000 or an equal amount in a freely
convertible currency.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders of their
representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8 ( c)
at 2:30 local time on April 24, 2009
