1. The
Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority invites
registered Con tractors of Category GC/RC-6 or above with license
valid for the year 2008 and registered for VAT to submit sealed bids
for providing Detail Engineering Design & Construction of the bridge
after completing the study by providing the necessary labour
materials and equipment along Bedessa river (Bedesa-10m span) found
at Assosa Zone in Oda Bildiglu (Woreda)
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the

3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to he
Authority at the Head Office of the Benishangul Gumuz Regional
State, Assosa on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 for
each set of Document.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security not less than 1%of the
bid amount. The bid security shall be payable on demand to the
office, & it can be Certified payment Order (CPO) or a

Bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the Benishangul
Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority. The final submission
date of the proposal will be on the 31st date of this
announcement on The Ethiopian Herald at 2:30 local time. A proposal
which is received late, will be returned unopened to respective
bidders.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidder’s or bidders
representatives who choose to attend at 3:00 P.M. on the on the date
of this announcement on . The Ethiopian Herald at the office of the
Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority. Opening date
will be the next working day while the next working day while the
time remains the same.
7. The
Detail Engineering Design & Construction of the work shall be
Completed within 90 calendar days from commencement of works.
8. The
Benishagul Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority resaves the
right to reject any or all bids.
