1. The
Educational Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
intends to Procure Different types of Furniture Raw Materials though
International competitive bid’s with EMPDE fund.
2. Bids
are invited form eligible bidders for the supply of Furniture Raw
Materials.
3. Details
information is stated in the bidding documents which are obtainable
during working hours from the Purchasing Department of EMPDE, Room
No. 35 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Birr 230.00 (Two
Hundred Thirty Only) as of April 24/2009.
4. Bidders
requiring bidding document by first class Air Mail should send a
Crossed Bank Draft of Birr 200.00 or an equivalent amount in foreign
currency drawn in favour of EMPDE, in addition to the price of the
document indicated in paragraph 3 EMPDE 16/2001-ICB/2009.
5. Bids
must be submitted, sealed and marked as: Tender No. EMPDE
16/2001-ICB/2009. Furniture Raw Materials at the address stated in
paragraph 6 below.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 2% in the bid’s
currency & in the form of counter guarantee Bank Guarantee or CPO
Cheque established through any Bank in Ethiopia, addressed to EMPDE
P.O. Box 5549, Tel. 011-645 47 39 so as to reach on or before May
26, 2009 at 9:30 A.M.
7. Tender
Documents received on the said deadline will be publicly open in the
presence of bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. on the same date.
8. The
Educational Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
