TANTALUM CONCENTRATES FOR SALE
The Ethiopian
Mineral Development Share Company (EMDSC) invites sealed bids from
bidders for the purchase of 20-25 tons of Tantalum
Concentrate with the following assay result of Ta2O5:
53.50%, Nb2O5: 8.56%, U3O8:
0.38%, TiO2: 0.37%, ThO2: 0.07%, SnO2:
0.27%, Sb PPM<20 Which are:
1. For
contract and L/C opening purpose, the total price will be calculated
based on Alex Stewart’s Weighing, sampling & staffing report and
Alfred H. Knight’s Assay result, which will be ready before contract
signing time.
2. Shipment
will be effected only after Letter of Credit opening.
A complete set of bidding document
may be obtained by any interested Bidders from the Share Company’s
Head Office, Commercial Department during office hours. Bidders
residing outside Ethiopia can request by Fax or e-mail for the
dispatch of the bid documents at the following address.

Bids in sealed
envelopes may be deposited in a box prepared for this purpose at the
Commercial Department, the Share Company’s Head Office, or shall be
sent by registered mail to the above Address so as to reach not
later than May 14, 2009 at 10:15 Addis Ababa time. Bids
directly received by telex, Fax or cable shall be rejected.
The bids
received shall be opened on
May 14, 2009 at 10:30 A.M.
Addis Ababa time at the
conference Hall of the Share Company in the presence of interested
Bidders or their duly authorized representatives. The Share Company
reserves the right to reject any or all the entire bid.
