1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) has allocated a budget
towards the cost of Rehabilitation a 5 MW SOR HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER
PLANT protection & Excitation Systems as well as Station Circuit
Breakers.
2. The
Scope of Rehabilitation work consists of:
Design, Supply, Erect and
commissioning work of Protection system and of Unit I and II, by
Modern and Digital Type sets.
Design, Supply, Erect and
commissioning work of Excitation System of Unit I and II, by Modern
and Digital Type sets.
Design, Supply, Erect and
Commissioning work of 66KV, 15KV and 3KV station circuit breakers by
new and modern SF6 and Vacuum Circuit Breakers.
Interfacing of the new system with
the rest of existing system
Supply of adequate spare parts for
the upgraded (refurbished) systems.
3. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO) therefore invites
interested and eligible bidders to participate in the bid for the
Design, Supply, Erect and commissioning of protection System,
Excitation System and Station Circuit Breakers of SOR HYDRO ELECTRIC
POWER PLANT.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English can be purchased by
interested bidders from the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 200 (Birr Two Hundred) starting
from 27th April 2009. The method of payment will be in
cash.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 hours
(local time –Addis Ababa) on 26th May 2009. Late bids
will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders
or representatives who choose to attend in person, on 26th
May, 2009 at 14:00 hours (local time-Addis Ababa) at EEPCO’s Club,
Mexico Square, Addis Ababa. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid
Security of United States Dollars Three Thousand (US$ 3,000) or an
equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
6. EEPCo
has the right to cancel the bid partially or in full.
