1. The
Somali Regional State Health Bureau invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the Construction of TB ward in Warder Health
center and Construction or Regional laboratory in Jijiga town under
2 packages.
2. National
Contractors of category BC/GC 6 are eligible to bid. Bidders are
required to provide a valid trade license from the appropriate
government body and proof of registration from the Ministry of
Infrastructure, for the current fiscal year.

3. Bidding
document (and additional copies) may be purchased at Somali
Regional State Health Bureau Room No. 3, Tel. 025 775 20 22 Or 775
47 38 Or 775 24 72 Or 775 28 44 for a non-refundable fee of 200
Birr for each package in freely convertible currency, on working
days.
4. Bid
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by security of not less than 1% of the bid amount or its
equivalent in CPO or Bank guarantee and shall be delivered to
Health Bureau of Somali Regional State on or before May 26, 2009
up to 10:00 A.M. local time.
5. Bids
will be opened May 26, 2009 in the presence of
those bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on the
same date and place at 10:30 A.M.
