1. This
invitation for Bids follows the General procurement Notice for the
project that appeared in Development Activates, issue No.
SRDPO/NCB/02/09
2. Oromia
Finance & Economic Development Bureau (BoFED) has received fund from
the Italian Cooperation toward the cost of Strengthening Regional
Development planning in Oromia and it intends to apply part of
proceed under the contract for purchase of IT Equipments.
3. Oromia
Finance & Economic Development Bureau of the SRDPO project
Management Unit now invites sealed bids from eligible& qualified
bidders for the Supply & Delivery of IT Equipment with Accessories.
Bidders have the option to bid for one or more lots.

4. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines (May 2004).
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Oromia Finance
& Economic Development Bureau & inspect the Bidding Documents at the
address given below from 9:00A.M to 12:00 A.M & 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. (local time)
Monday to Friday.
6. A.
complete set of bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders upon the payment of non-refundable fee birr
50.00(Birr Fifty).

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before
10:00 A.M. on 13 May 2009 (at 4:00 O’clock on Ginbot 05/2001E.C Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders’ or their representatives at

8. All
bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” amount of 2 %of the
