1. The
Addis Ababa Water & Sewerage Authority invites interested Bidders
for the supply of Welding Generator.
2. The
Bid Documents shall be purchased from AAWSA’s procurement Division
Office No.22,located at Megenagna P.O. Box 1505 Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia Tel. 011662 00 10, 0116621802 Fax (251-011)6623924against
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 during office hours.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the
office of AAWSA’s procurement Division located at Megenagna.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by bid bond of Birr 5, 000, as per ITB
clause14of the bid document, in the form of Bank Guarantee or
Certified payment Order (C.P.O) or Cash Bid Bond in any other form
shall not be acceptable
4. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: each having one
original & one copy on presentation of registration certificate from
the Federal Ministry of Finance & Economic Development, renewed
trade License for the year &VAT registration certificate.
5. All
eligibility certificates cited herein above should be found in the
original technical envelope,& are submitted in the tender box on the
closing date.
6. Bid
bond should be in a separate envelope & be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
7. If
the supplier is not Manufacturer, he should provide signed & if &
the agent shall provide authorization letter from the Supplier
8. All
bid must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at
or before 10:00 A.M. local time on May 19, 2009
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders &or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on May 19, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. local time.
10. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions indicated from number 4to 8
will result in automatic rejection.
11. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
