Re Tender invitation for the
Supply & Installation of Fuel Tanks
Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders of Grade GC/BC of category 4 and above who are
registered & licensed by the Ministry of Works and Urban Development
for the Supply & Installation of Fuel Tanks.
1. The
Tender remains floating from April 13, 2009 until May 11,2009 Bid
Documents can be obtained from ETC’s Head Office Room No. 206
during working days from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00(Hundred Birr) Bidders should
submit their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies
when they come to obtain the bid documents.
2. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their Bid, Bid security 1% of the bid
amount or their offer. However the maximum amount shall not exceed
Birr 100,000.00/Birr One Hundred Thousand only/
3. The
Bid bond must be in either of the following form
a)
Cash
b)
Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank, or
c)
Bank guarantee from recognized bank.
4. Bidders
who wish to submit Bid Security in the form of cash are required to
deposit to ETC’s Head Office 3rd floor Room No. 311
before May 12, 2009, 10:30 A.M. and produce the receipt during the bid opening.
5. Bidder
should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in
the box situated at 1st Floor Room No. 110 on or before
May 11, 2009, 5:30 P.M.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives at ETC’s Head Office Room No. 111 on May 12, 2009at
10:30 A.M.
7. Partial
bid is not allowed.
8. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part or the bids
