1. The
Haramaya University invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified
bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Station Wagon LWB, Diesel
(7-9 Seats) Vehicles and Parts.

Bids will be evaluated and contract's)
awarded for the lot taking into account, discounts offered, if any,
in determining the lowest evaluated cost which will be the basis for
award of contract.
2. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source
Countries.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Haramaya
University Liaison Office, General Education Curriculum Frame Work
Development Department Building, in front of American Embassy,
Office No. 355, Tel. 0111 236601/ 236812, Addis Ababa, and inspect
the Bidding Documents from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 5:30
p.m. during working days.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
300.00 or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The
method of payment will be the form of cash, casher’s, certified or
crossed check or a bank draft in favour of the Haramaya University.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the Haramaya University Liaison Office in Addis
Ababa at the address given above at or before 11:00 a.m. on September 21, 2009. Electronic
bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will
be opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose
to attend in person at the address given above at 11:00 a.m. on
September 21, 2009. All bids must accompanie3d by a bid security of
Birr 5,000.00 or its equivalent amount in a freely convertible
currency. |
