Supply Pipes & Fittings Hawassa/PIP/001/2009
The Government of Ethiopia has
received a credit (hereinafter called “credit”) from the World
Bank towards the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project
and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments
under the Contract for procurement of Ductile Cast Iron (DCI) and
unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) pipes for Hawassa
Town water supply & sanitation project.
The Enterprise now invites sealed
bids from eligible and qualified Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) pipes
and associated fittings. Bidders must bid for the supply of the
whole package of pipes, fittings and other pipe appurtenances
Bidding will be conducted through
the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the
World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA
Credits, and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source
Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

inspect the Bidding Documents at that address from 8:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. & from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and

contract, Suppliers should have delivered three contracts of a
similar type and quantity in the last three years, additional
details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

fee Birr 250.00 pr ISD 25.00 by interested bidders on submission
of a written application to the address indicated below.
