TANTALUM CONCENTRATE FOR SALE
The Ethiopian Mineral Development
Share Company (EMDSC) invites sealed bids from bidders for the
purchase of 20-22 tons of Tantalum Concentrate with the
Following assay result of Ta2O5:60%, Nb2O5:13.95%,
U2O8 : 0.86%, TiO2 : 0.40%, Tho2:0.087%,
SnO2: 0.33%, Sb PPM<20 which are:
1. For
contract and L/C opening purpose, the total price will be calculated
based on Alex Stewart’s Weighing, sampling & staffing report and
Alfred H. Knight’s Assay result, which will be ready before contract
signing time.
2. Shipment
will be effected only after Letter of Credit opening.
A complete set of bidding document
may be obtained by any interested Bidders from the Share Company’s
Head Office, Commercial Department during office hours. Bidders
residing outside Ethiopia can request by Fax or e-mail for the
dispatch of the bid documents at the following address.

Bids in sealed envelopes may be
deposited in a box prepared for this purpose at the Commercial
Department, the Share Company’s Head office, or shall be sent by
registered mail to the above Address so as to reach not later than
December 31, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. Addis Ababa time. Bids directly
received by telex, fax or cable shall be rejected.
The bids received shall be opened on
December 31, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.
Addis Ababa time at the
conference Hall of the Share Company in the presence of interested
Bidders or their duly authorized representatives.
The Share Company reserves the right
to reject any or the entire bid.
