1. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise invites eligible bidders for the
supply, installation and commissioning of stand by diesel generator
for Regional Airports, who have VAT registration certificate,
renewed trade license for the Fiscal year 2002 E.C. and Ministry of
Finance and Economic Development for which they are registered on
the suppliers list.
2. A
complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested
bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 300.00 (Three
Hundred Birr) from Ethiopian Airports Enterprise Head Office,
finance Service, Cashier office near Gerji Customs Office.
3.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from

82/665 06 96, P.O. Box 90652, and Fax 251-011-06 86 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
4. An
original and a copy of financial and Technical documents should be
delivered on or before January 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. late bids will be rejected.
5. The
Technical envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
The original and a copy of the
technical document shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked
“Original Technical Document” and “Copy of Technical Document”
respectively. The envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer
envelope marked “Technical Document”.
The Bid Security shall be sealed in a
separate envelope marked “Bid Security”
The envelopes in 5.1 and 5.2 shall
then be sealed in an outer envelope marked “Technical Document”.
6. The
Financial envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
The original and copy of the
financial document shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked
“Original Financial Document” and “Copy of Financial Document”
respectively.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr
20,000.00 (Twenty Thousands Birr) in the form of CPO or Bank
Guarantee.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ or their
representatives who choose to attend at Ethiopian Airport Enterprise
head office Tender Hall on January 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
9. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or
all bids.
