WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR
1. The
Ethiopian Shipping Lines S.C. has the funds within the
employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Construction
of Inland Container Terminal (ICT) at Dukem.
2. The
Ethiopian Shipping Lines S.C. invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the provision of Construction of Inland
Container Terminal (ICT) at Dukem.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible
bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from
8:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs
local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hidar 24,
2002 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a
written application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of Works
& Urban Development Trade License & Bid participation supporting
letter at the address below at 7b & upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 3,500.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 10:00
hrs, Tahsas 15, 2002 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 100,000.00 payable at first demand.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives
who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 10:30
hrs. Tahsas 15, 2002 E.C.

e) The Bidders are instructed to
submit all copies of the Bid in five inner envelopes i.e., the
(Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one
outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and
“COPIES” both for the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial
Offer”.
8. The
Ethiopian Shipping Lines Sh. Co. has the right to reject any or all
bids.
