INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS
1. The
Federal democratic Republic of
Ethiopia has received credit from the International Development Association toward
the cost of Public Sector
Capacity Building Program (PSCAP). The borrower intends to apply a
portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for
which this bidding document are issued.
2. The
Dire Dawa Administration Capacity Building Bureau now invites sealed
bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following:

given below from 9:00 to 12:00 a.m. and from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday to
Friday.
4. Qualification
requirements include: a valid and renewed business license from
Ministry of Trade and Industry or equivalent regional bureaus, and a
Value Added Tax (VAT) registration for the current year and
suppliers registration certificate. Additional details are provided
in the bidding documents.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be
purchased by interested bidders as of December 16, 2009 from 9:00 to
12:00 a.m. and from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday on the
submission of a written application to the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty)
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 4:00 a.m. (Dire
Dawa, local time) on January 13, 2009. Electronic bidding will not
be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose to attend in
person at 4:30 a.m. (Dire Dawa local time) on Januarys 6, 2010 the
address below. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 2% of
the total bid price in Birr or an equivalent amount in a freely
convertible currency.
