1. The
Construction & Business Bank has funds within the Employer’s
budget to be used for the procurement of Contractor’s for Dessie
Branch Bank Project.
2. The
Construction & Business Bank invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders of GC/BC Class-5 & Above.
3. Biding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address give below at 7(a) from
9:00 a.m.
to
16:30 p.m.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hidar
28/2002 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a
WRITTEN APPLICATION, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT and VAT
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE LETTER
at the address below at 7(b) and up on payment non-refundable fee of
Birr 1,523.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Three) only.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or before
10:00 a.m.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security Birr 80,000.00 payable on first demand. Bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose to
attend at the address below at 7(d).

e. The
bidders shall seal all the bid documents in five inner envelope i.e.
(Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid Security) duly
marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”
and to be enclosed with one outer envelope.
The Copy documents should be photo
copy of the Original bid documents.

Bid evaluation
criteria’s are as follows:
f.1- Average Annual turn over for the
last 3 years should be Birr 3,000,000 (Three Million)
f.2- Experience of one project in the
last 3 years with similar nature and complexity. Value of the
project should be not less than Birr 3,000,000 (Three Million)
and to be verified by Employer’s written Letter.
g. Project
completion time shall be 460 Calendar days.
h. Bidders
should accept the following specific Conditions
h.1- Partial rebate like fixed sum
and rebate on some items is not allowed.
h.2- Should fill all forms on the
information required for open tender, seal and sign the bid
documents.
h.3- Bidders should return the
instruction to bidder’s document upon Fill, sign and seal of the
document.
h.4- The Employer has the right to
accept or reject any or all bids.
