Local Competitive Bid

1. Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation Next Generation Program Office
intended to apply part of its own fund to payments under the
contract for the Procurement different types of Printer,
Photocopiers and Fax toners.
2. Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation Next Generation Program Office
invites all interested and eligible bidders by this Local
Competitive Bid for the Procurement different types of Printer,
Photocopier and Fax toners.
3. Bid
documents can be obtained from ETC’s Next Generation Program Office
2nd floor, office Number 204, during office hours upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Birr Fifty Only).
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of Birr
10,000.00 (Birr Ten Thousand Only).
The bid bond shall be furnished in
one of the following forms:-
a. Cash
b. Certified
Cheque /CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or
c. Bond
issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized domestic bank.
The Bank that issues the bond as per
4.1 (c) here above shall unequivocally guarantee to Pay the
Purchaser (ETC’s Next Generation Program Office) immediately
when the first written demand of payment. The Purchaser’s
written demand of payment shall not be subject to any condition
whatsoever.
The bond issuing bank shall
clearly incorporate the contents stated under item 4.2 here above on
the issued bond.
If the bidder wants to pay cash as
stated under item 4.1. (a) above , the cash has to be deposited to
NGPO Cashier before the opening date of the proposal, and the bidder
has to submit the receipt at time of bid opening.

received after the closing time (December 30, 2009 until 5:30
p.m.) will be automatically rejected.
6. Bids
receive in time and fulfilling other bid formalities will be opened
in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at
10:00 a.m. on December 31,
2009 ETC’s Next Generation
Program Office 6th floor.
7. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or parts of this bid.
