Somali Regional State Bureau of
Information, Culture & Turism invites sealed bids from all
interested and eligible bidders for the construction of Fence Work.
Therefore:
1. Bidders
of Category BC/GC-4 and above with valid license for the current
Ethiopian year and renewed Trade & Industry Development Certificate,
Ministry of works & Urban Development registration Certificate, VAT
registration Certificate, tax clearance certificate with supporting
letter, can participate for the bid.
2. Up
on submission of a written application together with documents
listed under no. 1 above, a complete set of bidding documents can b
e purchased from the address below against payment of non-refundable
fee of Ethiopian Birr 100.00 (One Hundred Birr only) starting from
the date of the first appearance of this invitation notice.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a 1% bid security but not greater than
25,000 Birr (Twenty Five Thousand) from certified payment order CPO
or Bank Guarantee only established through authorized Bank in
Ethiopia in separate and labeled envelope, or in the original of the
Technical document.
4. Bidders
are instructed to submit separate sealed, one “ORIGINAL” and one
“PHOTOCOPY OF THE Original” in both technical and Financial
proposals.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before Feb. 1, 2010 at
9:00 a.m. local time.
6. Bid
will be closed on Feb. 1, 2010 at 9:00 local time and will be opened
on Monday Feb. 1, 2010 at 9:00 local time.
7. Bidders
are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this Instruction may lead to bid rejection.
8. All
bids must include Value Added Tax (VAT) on the summary of the price.
9. Partial
rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.
10. Address
for further information bid document purchase of or inspection, bid
delivery and opening shall be Somali Regional State Bureau of
information, Culture and Tourism.
