Construction Bid Announcement
Floating date as of December 06, 2009
1. The
National Bank of Ethiopia invites eligible Grade 5 & above Building
or General Contractors for the procurement of works for the
Construction of its Office Building (in Dire Dawa) as
described in the bid document.
2. Interested
eligible bidders should provide all the necessary legal & supporting
documents (Renewed License, VAT registration Certificate, Tax Payers
Certificate & other related documents).
3. A
complete set of Bidding Document may be obtained by interested
bidders at the address below upon payment of non-refundable fee of
Ethiopian Birr 200.
4. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before the 22nd
day of the first announcement of this Bid. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the contract amount. The bid
security shall be in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
5. Bidders
should submit their offer in a wax-sealed envelope on or before
December 28, 2009 at 02:00 PM and the bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the
address below on the same date December 28, 2009 at 02:30 P.M. Late
bids shall be rejected.
6. National
Bank of Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
Bids.

Procurement Division, 6th floor of the New NBE Building or Dire Dawa Branch
Office, Dire Dawa. Dire Dawa Bidders are expected to submit the
documents to NBE Head Office before closing date.
b) Bids
must be delivered to:
Procurement Division, 6th floor of the New NBE Building.
c) Bid
Opening: Will be held, 6th
floor of the New NBE Building, Administrative
Services Department Meeting Room.
