The Ethiopian Merble Processing
Enterprise invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the supply
of the following Machines and Tools grouped into Lots.
Lot 1
1. Automatic
Line-Tiles Polishing Machine
2. Forklift
3. Manual
and Mobile floor polishing machine
(for marble chips polishing)
Lot 2
1. Diamond
discs and segments (for Marble and Limestone)
2. Abrasive
polishing Stones- Frankfurt and Sytetic types
Lot 3
1. Hard
Steel cable
2. Air
Hose
3. Drill
Steels for Marble rock production use
4. Plugs
and Feathers for splitting marble rock
Qualified Bidders from eligible
source country, who renewed their original Trade License and VAT
Certificate for the current year may obtain the bidding document
from the Enterprise’s Casher’s office (Head Office) at Addis Ababa,
against payment of non-refundable Birr 100.00 for each of the three
Lots stated above.
Financial and technical bid proposal
along with catalogs, brochures, and 2% Bid Bond in the form of bank
Guarantee, counters guaranteed by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia shall
be submitted in the tender box at Commercial Department of the
Enterprise in sealed envelopes, or bidders can summit their sealed
offers through fast courier or DHL before or on the closing date and
time of the bid.
Original bid documents of both
technical and financial proposals, for each of the items in “Lot-1”
shall be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes.
Financial offers should be in foreign
currency that can be easily convertible to local currency.
Closing date of submissions of sealed
bid documents will be before or on January 11, 2010, 10:00 a.m.
Bid Document will be opened on
January 11, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Commercial Department of the
enterprise, in the enterprise, in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives.
The Enterprise has the right to
accept or reject the bid partially or totally.
