1. The
Quality & Standards Authority of Ethiopia has funds within the
Employer’s budget to be used for the presence of contractors for
Office Building & Site work project at Awassa, Bahir Dar and Dire
Dawa.
2. The
Quality & Standards Authority of Ethiopia invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders of GC/BC class 4 & above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address 7(a) from 9:00 AM. to 16:30 P.M.
A complete set
of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Tir 4/2001 by
interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT and VAT
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE LETTER
at the address below at 7(b) and up on payment non-refundable fee of
Birr 1300.00 For each project.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or before
10:00 A.M.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security 100,000.00 Birr payable on first demand. Bids will
be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at the address below at 7(d) at
10:15 AM Yekatit 4/2001.

d)
The bidders shall seal the Original, Bid security and all
copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e. (Technical
proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer
envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and
“COPIES” both for “The Technical proposal” and “Financial
Offer”. Copy documents should be photocopy of the original bid
document.
e)
A bidder who wants to be eligible for more than one project
should satisfy the sum of each qualification criteria’s and the
required license grade requirement compatible to the sum of the
contracts.

Contractor’s can participate

f)
The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable.
