RE-INVITATION FOR BID
To all
Contractors with License valid for the year 2008/2009 (2001 E.C.)
The Galma Aba Gada Administration and Control of State Building
Office invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for
Construction of compound road connecting four Regional Governmental
buildings furnishing the necessary labour, material, equipment and
service for the construction and completion of the work.

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable Birr. 200 (Two Hundred Birr Only) form EAST SHOA ZONE
FINANCE & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICE located at ADAMA in front of
Adama CHAMBER OF COMMERCE during an office hours starting from
January 14, 2009.
2. All
bids must provide tax clearance paper form the concerned authority
and trade license valid for the year 2001 EC (2008/2009 G.C.) and
also VAT registration certificate in its original and copy.
3. The
construction work shall be completed within 180 calendar days.
4. All
bids must be delivered to East Shoa Zone Finance and Economic
Development Office from 15/01/2009 up to 05/02/2009 GC at 2:00 P.M. local time, in a
wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared for the
purpose of this bid.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% or Birr 100.000
(Birr One Hundred Thousand only) in CPO or Bank Guarantee which ever
is less.
6. Bidders
are required to fill all the necessary detailed information in the
bid document. All bidders must provide one original and one copy for
both Technical & Financial, bid bond and supporting documents.
7. The
bid shall be opened at EAST SHOA ZONE FINANCE AND ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE in the presence of bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend at 3:00 P.M. local time on
05/02/2009 G.C.
8. It
is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by another bidder.
9. The
offer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids with
out giving any reason thereof.
