Federal Ministry
of Health invites sealed bids from all eligible National contractors
of category BC/GC 6 and above for the construction of 2
Quarantine residential buildings and 3 additional works for the
existing new Quarantine office building.
1. The
bidders are required to provide a valid trade license from the
appropriate government body and proof of registration from the
Ministry of Works & Urban development, for the current Fiscal year
and also VAT registration certificate from the Ministry of Inland
Revenue.
2. The
construction sites have located in Oromia Region, Moyalle, Somali
Region Dewalle and Diredawa Administration.
3. The
bidders can purchased the bidding documents from Ministry of Health,
Planning and programming Department, Architectural and
Engineering team up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
200 (Two Hundred Birr).
4. The
bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the amount from
bank or its equivalent in convertible currency (C.P.O.) and shall be
delivered to Finance and supply department office on 11th
February 2009 before 2:00 P.M. and will be opened on the same date
at 2:30 P.M. at the same office in the presence of the bidders.
5. The
bidders shall the original and all copies of the bid in two inner
envelopes and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes
as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES”. And writing the following address on the
envelope. Federal Ministry of Health Quarantine house construction.
6. Interested
