of category BC/GC Class 1 with license valid for the year.
1. The
Hawassa University now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders
for furnishing the necessary material, labor and equipment for the
construction and completion of four dormitory blocks (G+4) at the
main campus in Hawassa.
2.
Eligible bidders are required to submit Technical and Financial
proposals. A Contractor will be selected under Quality and Cost
Based Selection procedures described in the Bidding Document.
3. Bidders
should note the 365 calendar day completion time and the associated
conditions in the Bidding Document.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder at:

Against a non-refundable fee of Birr 1000- Additional set of
biding documents may be purchased at the same price. Interested
bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding
documents at the above office.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of certified
cheque or a Bank Guarantee not less than 1% of the bid amount. Bid
must be delivered to Hawass University on or before 06 February 2009
at 14:00 hours, at which time the Technical Proposal will be opened
in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bids shall be
valid for a period of ninety days after bid opening.
6. The
Financial Proposal of bidders who pass the qualification criteria
shall be opened, in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend,
on 09 February 2009 at 14:00 hours.
7. The
Hawassa University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
bids. |
