Expression of Interest
Invitation for Consultancy Services
The Federal
HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office (FHAPCO) is engaged in
addressing the issues of Children Affected by HIV/AIDS (CABA).
FHAPCO is working with the Ministry of Women’s Affairs (MoWA) and
Federal level OVC Task Force. Currently FHAPCO has wide. Hence,
FHAPCO is looking for a consultant firm to undertake a national a
national level OVC situation assessment to obtain comprehensive
information reflecting on the current situation of Orphans and
Vulnerable Children (OVC).
Objective of
the assessment:
The general
objective of the situation analysis is to generate information that
will serve as a tools for proper decision making in policy, strategy
and program development, in conducting targeted advocacy and social
mobilization, and for a coherent stakeholder coordination and
collaboration.
The Specific
objectives, among others, include:
1.
To generate baseline information to help guide policy
formulation, program planning, implementation and monitoring and
evaluation of monitoring of OVC responses.
2.
To find our the capacity, experienced and potentials of
communicates, caregivers and families to protect and care for
children.
3.
Map out current OVC programs in the country.
4.
To suggest feasible recommendations for each identified gap
and constraint that could be an input for the next steps in policy
development, action planning, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation.
5.
To provide a reference for search and any other studies at
any scale in the country.
Expressions of
interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia.
Participation is
open to all eligible bidders. Bidders shall present a renewed trade
license for the year 2001 E.C. and should have Consultancy Service
registration certificate form the Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development.
Interested
eligible bidders may submit expressions of interest to FHAPCO,
including over all company profile, experience in similar
conditions, Brochures and availability of appropriate skills.
Expressions of
interest must be delivered to the address below at or before
February 2, 2009 at 3:00 P.m. Late submissions shall be rejected.
