Invitation for consultancy work
Consultancy
The Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Institution of the Ombudsman, has
received fund from the United Nations Development Programme and
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund towards the cost
of a consultancy work under the title “A Training Needs Assessment (TNA)”.
The duration of this project is expected to be one month. The
Installation of the Ombudsman now Educational and experience
testimony in the area of the assignments.
The
consultant is expected to have:
Working experience in the filed of
human rights, constitutional and administrative law.
Demonstrated expertise in consulting,
research, policy and data analysis and
Excellent spoken and written command
of the English Language.
The consultant
must have a renewed license in the area of assignment and must have
paid government taxes of the current year must have registration
certificate. Eligible consultants can collect the compete set of bid
document of the project from the Institution located at Bole Road,
Dembel City Center, 12th Floor, Room Number 12 upon
payment of a non-refundable Birr 10:00 (ten) during office hours.
The bid document shall be made available from the first day of
announcement of this notice up to 7 consecutive days. Consultants
are required to accompany their bid with a bid security of 2% of
their offer in the form of certified cheque, CPO or Bank Guarantee.
Eligible
consultants are expected to submit 2 (two) copies of their technical
and financial offer wax-sealed in a separate envelope. Bidding will
be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures provided in Public Procurement proclamation of Goods of
Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The closing date
26 January 2009. 10:00 A.M. local time (in the morning). Late submission of any offer shall be
rejected.
The technical
offer shall be opened in the presence of bidders or their
representatives on 26 January 2009. 10:30 A.M. local time (in the morning). The opening date of the financial offer
shall be communicated to the bidders upon completion of the
technical offer evaluation by tender committee.
The Institution
of the Ombudsman reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
