1. The
Ethiopian Red Cross Society invites all eligible bidders to
participate in the bid for supply of the following relief items.

2. Interested
and eligible bidders who have renewed license for the year 2001 E.C.
can participate for the bid.
3. Interested
suppliers can collect bid documents by paying 200 Eth. Birr which is
not returnable.
4. Bids
must be accompanied by a bid security of 100,000.00 Eth. Birr in
acceptable form of Bank guarantees or CPO.
5. Bid
“documents must be deposited in the tender box located in the
procurement office no, 120 before
Friday 30th Jan. 2009.
6. Specification
for the items would be as per the ICRC/IFRC relief Items Catalogue
and due consideration would be given to the Ethiopian standards as
indicated by the quality and standards authority of Ethiopia (QSAE).
7. The
bid will be closed on 30th Jan. 2009 at 11:30 AM and opened on the same day at
2:30 PM in the presence of interested bidders or their legal
representatives at the ERCS library.
8. The
Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
