Invitation for Bid
(National Competitive Bidding)
To all
Contractors of category BC/GC 6 and above with renewed license valid
for the year 2001 E.C.
1. Arsi
Zone Health Department invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
construction of Jijiga, Weragu Jawi, Negele, Bulala, Wadego Hotosa,
Bilalo, Tijo Nucleus Health Center at Gololcha, Chole, Guna, Dikisis,
Tana, Tiyo, Digelue and Tijo woreda respectively with in the zone.
2. Bidding
document may be purchased at the above mentioned office Engineering
section up on submission of written application and non-refundable
fee of Birr 150.00 for each set during the working hours and days.
3. All
bids must e accompanied by a bid bond of 1% in the form of CPO
(cashier payable order)
4. All
eligible certificates form the Federal Ministry of Infrastructure or
OWUDB, renewed license for the year, VAT registration, TAX payer
registration and clearance given by Oromia Economic and Finance
Bureau delivered during registration original with their copies.
5. Bid
shall be submitted in one original and two copies with each separate
wax-sealed envelope.
6.
Bid bond should be in separate envelope with company profile
and submitted all in one complied envelope in tender box.
7. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared at the Zone Health
Department for this purpose at or before 6:00 A.M. local time on January 18, 2001
E.C.
8. Construction
work should be complete within the maximum of 270 calendar days
including mobilization time.
9. Bids
will be opened in the same day in the presence of bidders and or
their official representatives who wish to attend on January 18,
2001 E.C. at 8:00 P.M. local time at Zone Administration.
10. The
Department reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
Failure to comply any of the condition written above will result in
automatic rejection.
