G.C/B.C CLASS 4 AND ABOVE WITH LICENSE VALID FOR THE YEAR
1. The
Dire Dawa Administration Roads Authority invites wax-sealed
bids form eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor,
materials and equipment for the construction, maintenance and
completion of Drainage Extension Works.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to The
Dier Dawa Administration Roads Authority, Room No. 001
upon payment of Two Hundred (200) Birr. Additional sets of
documents may be purchased each at the same price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents at The Dire Dawa Administration Roads Authority, Tel.
0251-11 41 74, P.O. Box
2386.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and all
bids must be accompanied by a bid security 1% of the bid amount in
an acceptable form of insurance/CPO, The bid security shall be valid
for 30 days beyond the validity of the bid.
5. The
bid must be delivered to the Dire Dawa Administration Roads
Authority on or before
10:00 A.M. the 6th day of Tir 2001 E.C.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at the same place at
10:00 A.M. the 7th day of
Tir 2001 E.C. at the office of The Dire Dawa Administration Roads
Authority.
7. The
construction of the works shall be works shall be completed within a
maximum 120 calendar days from the commencement of the work.
8. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bidders are requested to fill all the
necessary details in the schedule not providing the required
information’s in accordance to the enclosed instruction to bidders
may lead to disqualification
