1. The
Ministry of Education has funds to be used for the
Procurement of Various Textile Engineering-Equipment & Various
Textile Engineering-Furniture.
2. The
Procurement Services Enterprise on behalf of Ministry of
Education hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply of Various Textile Engineering Equipment & Various
Textile Engineering-Furniture.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the International Competitive
Bidding (ICB) procedures contained in the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement
Services Enterprise on behalf of Ministry of Education
and inspect the bidding documents at the address below during office
hours form Monday to Thursday Morning 8:00 A.M.-12:00 noon and
Afternoon 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. and Friday Morning 8:00 A.M. -11:30
A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M.-5:00 P.M.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 150.00 for each and
every lot from the office of the Procurement Services Enterprise 1st
Floor –Room No.2.
6. Bids
must be delivered to Procurement Services Enterprise, Conference
Hall on or before February
17, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security amounting ETB 100,000.00
(ETB One Hundred Thousand) for each and every lot in the form of CPO
or Bank Guarantee counter guaranteed by eth local banker.
7. The
bid opening date and hour shall be
February 17, 2009 at 2:30 P.M.
at Procurement Service
Enterprise, Conference Hall in the Presence of the bidders’
representatives who choose to attend.
8. The
purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
