1. Somali
Regional State Water, Mines & Energy Resources Development Bureau
invites open bids from registered Suppliers under local Competitive
Bidding (LCB) for the Supply of 800 pcs of GI pipes of delivered
Jijiga Town Water Services Warehouse.
2. Where
a Supplier wishes to bid for this contract but not yet registered in
the approval supplier list may apply to the relevant Authority for
Registration.
3. The
bidding documents may be purchased by interested suppliers from the
office of the Contract Administration Department against payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 upon presentation of trade license
renewed for 2000 E.C. & Tax Clearance certificate & VAT Registration
Certificate.
4.
The invitation of the bid is open to all interested bidders
regardless of their nationality & the bid evaluation and award shall
be determined in accordance with the provision and award shall be
determined in accordance with the provision indicated in eth bidding
document. The bidding document is prepared in English Language.
5. Bid
must be delivered to the above office
6. Bid
must be accompanied with a bid security 1% of the bid amount for
each lot. The bid security should be either in the form of certified
cheque or Bank Guarantee or Cash deposit against receipt. Bid
Security in the form of Insurance bond or in the any form other than
these shall not be acceptable.

8. Each
bidder proposing to bid may be purchased by any fulfilling the
requirements of the particular instruction of the tender documents.
9. The
offer envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
9.1
The original and a copy of the offer document shall be sealed
in separate envelopes and marked “Original Offer Document” and “Copy
of offer Document”.
9.2
The bid security shall be valid for 150 days & sealed in a
separate envelope marked “Bid Security”.
9.3
The envelopes in 9.1 and 9.2 shall be sealed in an outer
envelope marked “Offer Document”.
9.4
Financial & Technical Proposal Offers be sealed in the
separate envelopes.
10. Wax-sealed
envelopes containing an original and a copy of Offer and
Qualification documents should be delivered to the above office 30
days after the announcement of this invitation on Ethiopian Herald
on or before 12:00 A.M. & No liability will be accepted for loss or
late delivery.
11. You
may collect a compete set of bidding documents from the
representatives who choose to attend at the SRS Water, Mines &
Energy Resources Development Bureau last day of submission date
afternoon at 2:30 P.M.
12. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidder or bidder’s representatives
who choose to attend at the SRS Water, Mines & Energy, Resources
Development Bureau last day of submission date afternoon at 2:30
P.M.
13. Bidders
are instructed to fill sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents Failure of this instruction may result in automatic
rejection.
14. The
Bureau, SRS Water, Mines & Energy Resources Development, reserve the
right to reject any or all bids. |
