INVITATION to Bid for GS Pipes
1. Water
Action invites interested bidders for the Supply of Different Size
of GS pipes listed herein under for Phase II Worka Gara Large
Gravity Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Project.

2. All
Bidders should have registration certificate from the Federal
Ministry of Finance, renewed trade license fro the year, VAT
registration certificate and Tax Payer Registration Certificate.
3. All
Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of 1% of the bid price in the
form of CPO or Bank Guarantee. Bid bond in any other form shall not
be acceptable.
4. Bid
will be closed on January 12, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. local time and opened on the same date at
10:30 A.M. local time in the presence
of bidders or their representatives at Water Action Head Office,
located adjacent to Lem Hotel, near Miracle College.
5. All
the pipes are effective length of 6 meter, Medium (B) class, pipes
are sockets in one end and PVC cap to the other end.
6. Certificate
of Quality assurance and specification from the manufacture and
Authorization letter should be availed.
7. Delivery
is at the Ginchi Twon Water Action Project Store, West Shoa Zone,
Oromia Regional Located 80Km from Addis Ababa, (i.e. from Addis
Ababa via to Ambo Asphalt Road).
8. The
unit cost of each Pipe shall include Transport cost, loading and
unloading costs, and Bidder and clearly indicate by writing in his
proforma.
9. Final
acceptance, of all items shall be after final inspection of pipes
delivered to Water Action Project store at Ginchi Town.
10. Water
Action reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
