Invitation for Re-bids
1. Oromia
Regional Health Bureau has received a grant from the Italian
Government towards the cost of Health Sector Development Programme
(HSDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to
payments under the contract for the procurement of Furniture, NCB/IC/HSDP/RHB/06/07
(Re-bids)
2. Oromia
Regional Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Furniture (Tables, Chairs and Books
Shelves) to the Regional Health Bureau.

3. Bidders
have no option to complete on individual items.
4. Bidding
will be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines-Procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and the bid is open to all
bidders.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of
Procurement Service, Oromia Regional Health Bureau, Room No. 39,
Tel. 011-551 08 08 ext. 228 011-443 01 71 and inspect the bidding
documents from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30
P.M. during the working days.
6. Qualifications
required: Legal-Bidders must submit renewed Trade License for the
year 2001 EC. VAT, TIN registration certificate, Supplies
registration certificate and other supporting letter/s from Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development such as whether they have paid
the taxations for Government, and also have to bring these
requirement/s while purchasing the tender document and when
submitting offers and in accordance with the Ethiopian Law.
7. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be
purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written
application to the address mentioned below upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr) only.
8. Bids
must be delivered to the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau on or before 3:00 PM in the afternoon on date
25/05/2001 (2/02/2009) and bids will be opened in the presence of
bidders or their representative’s (Those who have a written
representative’s from their organization to participate at the
office of Procurement Service, Oromia Health Bureau, Room No-39
Finfinnee, Ethiopia.
9. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 1% of the bid amount
in a form of C.P.O. or unconditional Bank Guarantee from a reputable
Bank.
10. The
Regional health Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
