1. Commercial
Bank of Ethiopia invites all interested eligible bidders with a
certificate of registration from Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development, Trade license valid for 2001 Ethiopian calendar years
and have VAT Registration certificate for the supply and fixing of
bronze latter sing and CBE, logo for CBE Dessie District Office
(Efesson, Combolcha, Dessie, Mugad, Woreillu, Woldiya, Tenta, Mille,
Mekaneselam, Dupti and Assitata) branch offices.

2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the
above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100
(One Hundred) Starting from January 24, 2009.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 3,000. The bid
security shall be payable on demand to the employer, and must
be an irrevocable Letter of Credit or bank guarantee, or a Certified
payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.

4. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend on February 24, 2009 at 10;30
A.M.
5. Bid
validity period is 90 calendar days.
6. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to
waive informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do
the work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
7. All
bids must include 15% VAT (Value Added Tax) on the summery of price.
8. Bidders
are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
