Tender Invitation for the Procurement of
Different Items

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (E.T.C) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the following items.

1.      The Tender remains floating from January 26, 2009 to respective closing date. Bid Documents can be obtained from ETC’s Head Office Room No. 206 from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 30.00 (Thirty Birr) for each tender. Bidders should submit their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as part of their Bid, Bid security as follows:

3.      The Bid bond must be in either of the following form

a)      Cash

b)      Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or

c)      Bank guarantee from recognized bank.

4.      Bidders who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to our Head office 3^rd floor Room No.311 before each tender opening date or time and produce the receipt during the bid opening time.

5.      Bidders should prepare their technical and commercial offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at ETC’s Head office 1^st Floor Room No.110 in the respective closing date.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives, at ETC’s Head Office Room No. 111 according to the following schedule:
