valid for the year 2001 E.C. and can present registration
certificate for construction work service from concerned
organization.
1. The
Amhara Credit and Saving Institute has invited wax-sealed bids
comprising of a Technical and Financial proposal form eligible
bidders for providing the necessary labor, materials and equipment
for the construction and completion of Micro Bank and Office
Building (G+3) at Debretabor town and (G+2) at Enjibara town.
2. Both
the pre-qualification and bid documents may be obtained by any
interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written
application.

of non-refundable Birr 400 (Four Hundred only) for Micro Bank and
Office building (G+3) at Debetabor town and Birr 300 (Three
Hundred only) for Micro Bank and
Office Building (G+2) at Enjibara
town.

3. Each
bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond in the sum equal
to 2% of the bid amount which shall remain in forces for 90 calendar
days from the bid opening date and shall be in separate envelope.
The successful
bidder will be required to furnish a performance and in the sum of
10% of the gross bid sum within 15 days from signature.
4. Bidders
are warend that they must read and comply in full with the
“INSTRCUTION TO BIDDERS”
5. The
construction of work shall be completed within a maximum of 730 Cal.
Days from the connuncencement of the works.
6. All
bids must be submitted based on the free marked price and current
basic materials. Price must be attached with the bid document.
7. Both
the pre-qualification and price bid document shall be in separate
envelopes & wax-sealed (One Original & One Copy).
8. Application
who do not score minimum of 70 % of qualification criteria allocated
100% points will be considered as not pre-qualified and their price
bid document will be retuned to the applicant without opening it.
The weights given to the technical, financial, & advance payment
conditions are.
Technical 40%
Financial 58%
Advance payment conditions 2%
9. Sealed
pre-qualification & priced bid document shall be submitted to the
Amhara Credit and Saving Institute in floor 4th Room No.
406 up to the 20th consecutive days at 12:00 A.M. beginning from the first date of advertisement. If the 20th
day is not a working day the submission date will be the next
working day till 12:00 A.M. and shall be publicly opened the same
day and place at 2:00 P.M. when the names of bidders and the amount
of their bids will be declared.
Bidders are
advised to attend the opening of bids.

11. Bidders
must present certificate of VAT registration
12. The
Amhara Credit and Saving Institute reserves the right to reject any
or all bids without giving reasons therefore and to waive
informalities and irregulaties, which do not constitute a material
modification in the bid received.
