1. Ethiopian
Airlines now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
furnishing the necessary labor, materials and equipment for the
construction and completion of EAL. Dormitory Buildings phase II.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased on contractors
request with non-refundable fee of Birr 1,380.00 (One Thousand Three
Hundred Eighty) as of January 26, 2009.

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the bid amount
from a recognized financial institute payable on first demand shall
in the bidders option be in the form of Bank Guarantee or certified
payment order (C.P.O) and must be addressed to Ethiopian Airlines
Enterprise.
5. Bids
should be submitted in Wax-sealed envelope on or before February 25,
2009 at 12:00 hours local time at the following

All Bids must
include 15% value added tax on the summary of price; failure to
include will result in automatic rejection of the bid.
Bidders are
instructed to submit one “Original” and one “Copy” of the bid.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on the same date at 14;00 hour
local time at the Ethiopian Airlines office, Facility Planning and
Management.
7. The
Construction of works shall be completed within a maximum of 480
calendar days from the commencement of works.
8. Ethiopian
Airlines Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
