1.
The Amhara Rural Roads Authority invites all eligible local
contractors to submit tenders for the construction of:
Lot -1 Tsitica-Sehala Rural Roads Project (Km 0+000 –km -63+000)
Lot -2 Sehala –Arbatsugar
Rural Roads Project (Km 63+000 –Km-121+337) which are located
in Lot-1 Waghmira and Lot-2 North Gondar Administrative Zones of the
Regional State.
2. To
be eligible for tendering of these projects, the contract must duly
registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban Development, in
category GC-1/RC-1 with license valid for the current fiscal
year.
3. Tenderers
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority.
4. A
complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by interested,
eligible Tenderers from Our office addressed below, on the
submission of a written application and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr) Ethiopian birr for
each lot.
5. Duplication
copies of tender with separate Technical Qualification Document
and Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled
as ORIGINAL and COPY shall be placed in the bid box
accompanied by a security, in an acceptable form and amount
specified in the tendering document (2 percent of the tender price
or 100,000.00) on or before February 2, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at
the same address below.
6. Tender
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 PM. in the premises of the Authority in the presence of the Tenderers or
their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
