RE-INVITATION TO BID
1. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (EAE) invites eligible
electromechanical contractors to supply and install Ventilation
system as described in the TOR for the Addis Ababa Bole new terminal
Basement floor as per the details in the tender document.
2. All
bidders should have a trade license valid for 2001 Ethiopian
Calendar year VAT registration certificate, and registration
certificate form Ministry of Finance and Economic Development for
which they are registered on suppliers list.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders upon payment of non-refundable fee of 200 Birr (Two Hundred
Birr) from Ethiopian Airport Enterprise Head Office, Finance
Service, Cashier office near former Gerji customs.
4. Interested
bidders may obtain further information from the enterprise’s
purchasing & Logistic Administration Service.

5. Wax-sealed
envelopes containing original and copy of financial and technical
documents should be delivered to the same office on or before
February 24, 2009 up to 10:00 A.M. Late bids will be rejected.
6. The
financial envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
6.1 The original and a copy of the
financial documents shall be sealed in a separate envelopes and
marked “Original financial Document” and “Copy of financial
Document” respectively.
6.2 The Bid security shall be sealed
in a separate envelope marked “Bid Security”.
6.3 The envelopes in 6.1 and 6.2
shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked “Financial
Document”.
7. The
technical envelopes shall be submitted as follows: The original and
a copy of the technical document shall be sealed in separate
envelopes and marked “Original Technical Document” and “Copy of
Technical Document” respectively. The envelopes shall then be sealed
in an outer envelope marked “Technical Document”.
8. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 10,000
in a form of CPO or Bank guarantee.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at Ethiopian Airports
Enterprise Head Office Tender Hall on February 24, 2009 at 11:00
A.M.
10. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or
all bids.
