1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority invites all eligible bidders to submit
bid offer for the construction of:
Lot-1 Wetetabay Bridge
Lot-2 Mesheha Bridge which are
located in Lot-1 West Gojjam and
Lot-3 North Gondar Administrative
Zones of the Regional Government.
2. To
be eligible for tendering of these bridges, the contract must be
duly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban Development in
category GC-1 for Lot-1 and GC-5 & above for Lot-2 with
license valid for the current fiscal year.
3.
Tenders are required to present certificate of Value Added
Tax (VAT) registration. Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and
also with recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue
Authority.
4. A
complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by interested,
eligible Tenders from our office addressed below, on the submission
of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) for each lot.
5. Duplicate
copies of tender with separate Technical Qualification Document and
Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
ORIGINAL and COPY shall be placed in the bid box accompanied by a
security bond unconditional bank guarantee and amount specified in
the tendering document (not less than 2 percent of the tender price)
on or before February 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the same address
below.
6. Tender
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M. in the presences of the Authority in the presence of the Tenders or
their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
