Contract Title: Construction of
New Medical Ward block at Shashemene & Multi purpose hall at Negelle
Borena nursing college.
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has allocated budget to
wards the cost of primary Health Sector Development Program/ HSDP/ &
intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under
the following construction work
1.
New Medical Ward Block at Shashemene.
2.
Multi purpose hall at Negelle Borena nursing college
3. The
Oromia Regional Health Bureau invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders to all national contractors of class GC/BC 6 and above
regularly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development and who have renewed their license for the current
fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate, and have past
good work performance.
4. Bidding
documents and (additional copies) may be purchased from Oromia
Regional Health Bureau, Engineering Service Room No.63 Addis Ababa
for a non-refundable fee each Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only) or
its equivalent in a freely convertible currency commencing from Jan.
5, 2009 –Feb 03, 2009. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
5. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by a bid security of at least 1% of the project cost in
a form of CPO, unconditional insurance bonds, bank guarantee and
shall be delivered to Oromia Regional Health Bureau in wax-sealed
envelope original and 2 copies on or before Feb. 4, 2009 at 2:30
P.M. in the afternoon at which time the bid will be opened in the
presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
6. Completion
time for the construction work will be 300 calendar days.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
