RE-INVITATION TO BID

1.      The Ministry of Works and Urban Development (MWUD) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Basement Hall Renovation Work in the Ministry’s compound in Addis Ababa.

2.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in a public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all locally registered contractors of Category BC/GC 7 and above.

3.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Support Service Coordinating Bureau (MWUD) and inspect the bidding document at the address give below at 6(c) form 9:00 A.M. -12:A.M. noon.

4.      A complete set of hard copy of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders at the address below at 6 (a) upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty Birr). The method of payment will be in Cash.

5.      Bids Must be delivered to the address below at 6(b) by placing them in the tender box prepared for this purpose at or before 8:00 P.M. local time on the 30^th day of bid announcement. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amount stated in the bid document. ITB. Clause 21.2 in the form of Bank Guarantee, C.P.O. or Cash, Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives who chose to attend at the address below at 6(d) at 8:30 P.M. local time on the 30^th day of bid announcement.

6.       a) Documents will be issued from: Ministry of Works and Urban Development, 1^st Floor, Room No.106.

b) Bids must be delivered to Support Service Co-ordinating Bureau (MWUD), 1^st Floor, Room No.106.

c) Documents may be inspected at: Support Service Co-ordinating Bureau (MWUD), 1^st floor, Room No. 106, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Tel. 011-553 16 88 Fax. 011-554 12 89.

7.      The Ministry reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
