Supply of 132 KV Transmission Line Materials,

Universal Electric Access Program
1. The
Federal Government of Ethiopia has received a credit from eth Arab
bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and OPEC Fund for
International Development (OFID) for Sawla-Key Afer 132 KV Power
Transmission Project under universal Electricity Access Program (UEAP).
2. The
implementing agency, Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO) is
now inviting all interested and eligible bidders to participate in
design, manufacture, test, and supply to site of erection of 132 kV
Transmission line materials for Sawla-Key Afer Power transmission
project.
3. Bidding
will be conducted though International Competitive Bidding (ICB).
4. Interested
eligible bidder may obtain further information and bid document at

5. The
bid document shall be available from June 10, 2009 onwards against
payment non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr
only) at the above address.
6. Bids
will be closed on July 24, 2009 at 14:30 hour’s local time in the
presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at EEPCO Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
7. Bids
will be opened on July 24, 2009 at 14:30 hour’s local time in the
presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at EEPCO Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8. Ethiopian
Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part
of this bid.
