1.      The Oromia Disaster Prevention, Preparedness & Food Security Commission (ODPPFSC) has received financing from the World Bank; International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Food Security Project (FSP). The (ODPPFSC) intends t apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued.

2.      The ODPPFSC now invites proposals to provide consulting services on End User’s Evaluation. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.

3.      A firm will be  selected under Quality & Cost Based System (QCBS) and procedures described in the Request for Proposal (RFP), in accordance with the policies of the International Development Association (IDA) detailed in the Guidelines-Selection and Employment  of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers which can be found at the following website:

4.      The RFP document issued includes the following sections:

Section 1- Letter of Invitation (LoI)
Section 2- Instructions to Consultants &
                 Data Sheet
Section 3- Technical Proposal- Standard
Section 4- Financial Proposal – Standard
Section 5- Terms of Reference
Section 6- Standard Forms of Contract 

5.      The Request for Proposal (RFP) document can be collected free of charge on from Oromia Disaster Prevention, preparedness & Food Security Commission; Food Security project (FS{) Unit, Tel. 011-442-15 53, 011-442-62 28 E-mail: Tinfinne (at Saris near Matador Addis Goma Factory).

6.      Interested consultants must deliver their technical & Financial Proposal to ODPPFSC FSP Unit at Saris in from of Manador Addis Goma Factory or sent them by E-mail Tithin 21 days from the date of issuance on the news paper. The consultants are also urged to submit their renewed professional license, taxpayer registration certificate and supporting letter indicating that they have paid the 2001 EFU government  tax.
