The Amhara National Regional State
Cooperatives Promotion Agency would like to invite all interested
and capable local consulting firms to bid for Conducting a
feasibility study and preparation of business plan, essential Bank
Procedure Manuals and documents of incorporations for the
establishment of cooperative bank in Amhara National State essential
procedure manuals and Articles and Memorandum of associations. The
consultants are expected to consider the following procedural
information’s.
1. Eligible
bidders are invited to take part in the bid up on the presentation
of currently (for the year 2001 E.C) renewed valid trade license
together with professional work authorization, TIN, registered for
VAT and submit certificate of competence from authorized body.
2. A
complete set of bidding document can be purchased from Amhara
National Regional State Cooperatives Promotion Agency, procurement,
finance and property management process, First Floor Room Number 124
up on payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (One Hundred
Birr).
3. The
bid is open to all qualified and eligible consultants and the
evaluation is based upon the bidder’s technical and financial
proposals.
4. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bids security in an amount equivalent
to 1% of the aggregated price (including VAT). The bid bond must be
payable to Amhara National Regional State Cooperatives Promotion
Agency in CPO.
5. Bidders
should submit “Financial” and “Technical” proposal in separate
wax-sealed envelopes marked as “Bid Bond”, “Technical proposal “
(one original and one copy) and “Financial proposal” (one original
and one copy). It should submit to Amhara National Regional State
Cooperatives Promotion Agency, procurement, finance and property
management process, First Floor Room Number 106 in hand or in the
bid box set for this purpose on or before 6:00local time 20 calendar
days after the appearance of this bid on The Ethiopian Herald.
6. The
bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives’ on the closing date at
8:00 local time in Room No. 105
of Amhara National Regional State Cooperatives Promotion Agency,
procurement, finance and property management process owner office.
If the attendants are, however, not present by their own reason, the
bid shall be deterred from opening.
7. The
Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
