INVITATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF
OFFICE EQUIPMENT

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation invites sealed bid from eligible bidders eligible bidders for the procurement of Office Furniture.

1.      The Tender remains floating from June 22, 2009 until July 13, 2009. Bid Documents can be obtained from ETC’s  Legehar Building 3^rd floor Office Room No. 332 (Addis Ababa) during office hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 30.00 (Thirty Birr). Bidders should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, security of Birr 6,000.00 (Birr Six Thousand).

3.      The Bid bond must be in either of the following form

1. Cash
2. Certificate cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or
3. Bank guarantee from recognized bank.

4.      Bidders who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to ETC fixed line (Legehar Building) cashier, second floor Room No. 213, on or before July 13, 2009 at 5:00 P.M and produce the receipt during the bid opening.

5.      Bidders should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at 3^rd  Floor Room No. 320 on or before July 13, 2009 at 5:00 P.M.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (fixed line) Leghar Building 4^th   Floor Room No. 420 on July 14, 2009 at 4:00 P.M

7.      Partial Bidding is allowed

8.      The Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
