1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority /ARRA/ invites all eligible bidders to
submit bid offer for the DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN and TENDER
DOCUMENT PREPARATION of the following rural road project.
Lot 1:
Wegeltena-Lamdengay-Mancharie
meda
Lot 2: Jara-Arabati-Weyufilha-Bati
Lot 3: Mekoy-Gisherabel or Mekoy-Majetie-
Rond
Lot 4: Wereilu-Gisherabel
Lot 5: Seladengay-Guana-Kimirdengay-Jihur-
Zemero
Lot 6: Zigem-Bure-Yejubie.
Lot -1 is located in North Wallo,
Lot-2 in south Wollo, Lot-3 in North Shewa, Lot-4 in S. Wallo, and N. Shewa, Lot-5 in North Shewa and Lot -6 in
West Gojjam.
2. Interested
bidders in category 3 and above with valid trade license for the
current Ethiopian budget year can obtain a complete set of bidding
document from Amhara Rural Roads Authority, Bahir dar upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 for each lot.
3. Bidders
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority.
4. Duplicate
copies of Bid offer with separate Technical Qualification Document
and Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
Original and Copy shall be placed in the bid box along with a bid
security in an acceptable from amounting no less than 1% of bid
offer on or before the closing date July 10, 2009 at 2:00 P.M at the
Amhara Rural Roads Authority Contract. Administration Division,
Bahir Dar.
5. Bids
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M in the premises of ARRA.
6. The
Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
