INVITATION TO BID FOR THE DESIGN AND
EXECUTION OF TEXTILE FACTORY 2ND CALL
1. Privatization
& Public Enterprise Supervising Agency is desirous of engaging a
contractor for the design and execution of Sygin
Dima Textile Factory Building
on Turn-Key Basis.
2. PPESA
now invites eligible bidders of local contractors or equivalent
foreign bidders with representatives in Ethiopian for design and
execution of Sygin Dima Textile Factory.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder at working hours starting from the day of the call
on submission of a WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION
CERTIFICATION, MINISTRY OF WORKS & URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION
CERTIFICATE, TRADE LICENSE & BID PARTICIPATION SUPPORTING LETTER to
the office:- Building Business Unit-2 Block No. 4 Construction
Design Share Company (CDSCo.), P.O. Box 40036, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia, (Telephone. No. 0114 42 33 74 Or 0114 42 08 00 Ext. 225,
112, Fax No. 251-11-440062), and upon payment of non-refundable fee
of Eth. Birr 1,130.00 (One Thousand One Hundred Thirty).
4. Bidders
may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding
documents, at the above address.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 200,000 (Two
Hundred Thousand) or equivalent amount in an acceptable form
expressed in a freely convertible currency, payable to the Employer
at the first demand with out any contestation whatsoever, and must
be submitted on or before 12:00 hours local time on the 13rd
July 2009 at the address of:- Construction Design Share Company,
Tender Hall, 3rd floor Room No. 28.
6. Bids
will be opened on the 13th July, 2009 at 14:30 hours at the address
above at (5).
7. The
Bidders are instructed to submit all copies of the Bid in five inner
envelopes i.e, the (Technical Proposal, Financial offer, and Bid
Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes
as “ORIGINAL” and “COPEIS” both for the “The Technical Proposal” and
“Financial Offer”.
8. Bids
sent by post shall be registered and marked as outlined in the
instructions to Bids.
9. The
privatization & public Enterprise supervising Agency reserves the
right to reject any or all bids. Privatization & Public Enterprise
Supervising Agency also reserves the right to modify the bid
requirement.
