Request for expression of interest
for baseline survey on Youth
Development, Participation and Prevention
Bureau of
Youth’s and Sport’s /BOYS/ is in charge of overall socio-economic
and psychosocial improvement and empowerment of youths in SNNPR.
The Bureau has
received a fund from HIV/AIDS Controlling and Prevention Sector to
conduct baseline survey on youth development, participation and
prevention activities suitably qualified consultants to submit
sealed expression of interest. The baseline survey covers 22
selected sample towns/woredas.
The
expression of interest shall comprise the following information:
1.
Relevant similar experiences on conducting baseline survey.
2.
Annual turnover,
3.
Availability of experienced and qualified staff (experience
and CVs of their staff to be assigned)
4.
Recommendation letter from known organization on executing
related activities before,
5.
License of the firm of undertake such activities and other
eligibility documents
6.
Implementation capacity of the firm (technical and managerial
organization of the firm, office, vehicles).
7.
Profile of the firm.
The expression
of interest will be evaluated in accordance with regional
procurement manuals. Quality-cost selection is preferable criteria
during evaluation.
Each short
listed consultant will be invited to take request for proposal/RFP/
to present their technical and financial document. The won bidder
will be awarded and sign contractual agreement.
Expression of
interest will be delivered to the address of SNNPR Bureau of Youths
and Sports until June 29, 2009 before 10:00 P.m. local time for additional information.
